Commercial Times: Taiwan E-intelligent Vehicle & Green Energy Tech Association established

The Taiwan E-intelligent Vehicle & Green Energy Tech Association (TEGA) held its inaugural meeting and first board of directors/board of directors meetings at the Lin Hotel Taichung on October 12. The meeting saw representatives of domestic industry, government, academic and research units, scholars, experts, professional managers, and company founders gathered together in one place. Their shared mission is to promote industrial upgrading, promote international cooperation and exchanges, and increase Taiwan’s influence. Organizations including the Taichung City Government Transportation Bureau, Taipower Company, Mobiletron Co., Ltd., Phoenix Battery Corp., and more have taken industry-academia cooperation and talent cultivation as their starting point, to integrate innovative R&D technologies such as battery energy storage, motor drivers, energy processing, and system integration. The meeting featured Kim Tsai, Chairman of Mobiletron Co., Ltd., becoming TEGA chairman. Meanwhile, Wu Ting-fa, Chairman of Master Transportation Bus Manufacturing Ltd.; Shieu Fuh-Sheng, President of National Chung Hsing University; Cheng Chao-pin, Vice Chairman of Allis Electric Co., Ltd.; and Mike Yang, Chairman of Phoenix Battery Corp. became executive directors. In the future, TEGA looks forward to working together with people from all sectors of society to jointly contribute to Taiwan’s electric vehicle and green energy technology industry.
